The Esquire is the single-pickup Tele, and the Vintage Custom '59 Esquire recreates the late '50s version: a two-piece select ash body, a one-piece rift sawn maple neck and a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '58 Single-Coil Tele pickup in the bridge. The neck is a fat 1959 "D" carve, for players who like plenty of wood in the hand, with a 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius and Jescar Medium Vintage (47095) frets.
