Phenix is the 1954 Les Paul Custom on the cover of Frampton Comes Alive. It was thought lost in a 1980 cargo plane crash and came back to Peter more than thirty years later, hence the name. This model is inspired by it. Three Custombuckers, with the middle pickup on its own volume and tone independent of the toggle. A mahogany body with 9-hole weight relief, jumbo frets on an ebony board with custom blocks and Frampton's signature at the 12th fret, a Tune-O-Matic, stop bar and gold hardware. Eb
