Originally a 'student model', the L-48 was designed as an all laminate archtop, made to compete with other budget archtop models of the time. This '53 L-48 was made at the hight of the acoustic archtop craze, and is in great shape. These early 50's laminates have a surprisingly responsive top and good projection.
