The 1969 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic is an end-of-the-decade Strat with light, played-in wear: a 2-piece select alder body with an offset seam, a 3-ply parchment pickguard and a plain-grain maple neck with a 1969 "U" profile, a fuller carve that fills the hand. The 9.5" radius and Jescar Vintage frets are a comfortable middle ground for chords and bends. Three Custom Shop Hand-Wound '69 Single-Coil Strat pickups, with an RWRP middle so positions 2 and 4 cancel hum and a hotter bridge pickup.
