For those who luv Les Paul’s, there’s a certain thrill of owning an original Gold Top w/P-90 pickups from the choicest years between 1953 thru 1956. Between 1968-9 Gibson made the new Les Paul Std. model 2nd generation supposedly from leftover 50’s parts & were mostly like this version from 1956 w/a stop bar & a tun-a-matic bridge. This 2nd gen Les Paul Std. has a perfect Gold Top finish that now aged looks like the 50’s yet so clean w/no checking. Its 1 piece mahogany body & very early 3 piece
