The Collings 3 style offers a clean, streamlined take on their spruce & rosewood platform, swapping out the herringbone purfling for a band purfling and adding an abalone rosette, ivoroid fingerboard and headstock binding, gold Waverly tuners and a multicolored chevron backstrip. Sonically this OM is classic Collings: bold, powerful voice, excellent note-to-note separation and clarity, with nicely focused projection in the room.
