In 1979, Clarke commissioned luthier Thomas Lieber to build an all composite bass. Their partnership resulted in a limited edition run of fifty Spellbinder basses, but the duo broke the bass mould to preserve their value. This bass is number 009, and is presented in very good condition with original hardshell case, the bass is fitted with light gauge strings and setup with a low action.
