1996 Franklin Jumbo in Brazilian Rosewood and European Spruce. Thirty years old at the time of publication, it’s had all that time to open up and expand sonically, and we’d wager it was pretty bombastic and powerful to begin with. Depth, range, power—this guitar can do a little of everything. Handles a pick just as well as fingertips. Classic abalone appointments, herringbone trim, and abalone and rope-style trim throughout. This guitar screams Americana and American-style steel-string guitar.
