A beautiful cutaway-bodied acoustic with professional performance for the stage and studio The Gibson Songwriter was introduced in the late 1990s and features a unique Gibson square shoulder modern dreadnought body design. The Songwriter Recording Artist EC captures the historic tonal advantages that come from Gibson’s famed 1930s scalloped Advanced X-braced top, 25.5” long scale length, and tonewoods that are similar to the 1936 Advanced Jumbo’s, for a unique sound that is still 100% Gibson.
