The Korina Flying V as Gibson built it in 1958, when 81 were shipped. Korina body and neck with no weight relief, strings through the body into a lacquered brass chevron, and an ABR-1 bridge. Custombuckers wired to 500K CTS pots and a phone book capacitor, an Indian rosewood board with pearloid dots, Kluson single-ring tuners and gold hardware, in a Historic Flying V brown and pink hardshell case. Natural VOS with a white or black 4-ply pickguard; the black-guard version is carved to the 1950s
