This Gretsch Country Gentleman was made in the USA in 1961. It is a rare transitional version and we have not seen another like it. It has a thin body and single cutaway which is typical of 1961, but also the double mutes which this model did not receive until 1962, at which time the model also transitioned to a double cutaway guitar. The guitar shows normal play wear, but no structural damage.
