The Artisan Buckeye Burl Double Esquire is a hollow roasted pine body under a figured buckeye burl top, bound in brown shell with herringbone purfling and finished in Aged Natural NOS nitrocellulose lacquer, so the burl shows through. The pickups are a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Loaded '51 Nocaster at the bridge and a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Open Loaded '51 Nocaster at the neck, on a three-way blade with master volume and tone.
