ABOUT THE BUILDER A lovely classical guitar made by world-renowned luthier Manuel Velazquez! In the realm of classical guitars, Velazquez has built up a sterling reputation, and this instrument speaks to dedication to his craft. Born in Puerto Rico in 1917, Manuel learned to build guitars as a teen. He opened his own shop in NYC in 1941 and built guitars in the traditional European style, producing instruments that stood shoulder to shoulder with his contemporaries in Spain and Germany. Legend
