The 1966 Stratocaster DLX Closet Classic is a mid-sixties Strat with light aging: a 2-piece select alder body with an offset seam in nitrocellulose lacquer, a 3-ply parchment pickguard, and a maple neck with a 1966 Oval "C" back on a 3A rosewood board. The 9.5" radius and narrow tall frets make clean bends easier than a vintage 7.25" board. Three Custom Shop Hand-Wound '66 Single Coil Strat pickups run through a 5-position blade, with one tone for the neck and middle and a second for the bridge
