The Martin D-28 Authentic 1937 recreates the legendary craftsmanship of Martin's most celebrated pre-war year, featuring an Adirondack spruce top with hand-scalloped X-bracing and Guatemalan rosewood back and sides. Martin's Vintage Tone System thermally ages the top and braces to deliver the rich, open resonance of a vintage instrument, while hide glue construction and hand assembly honor traditional building methods.
