The 1971 Medallion Flying V is the version Michael Schenker made a hard rock icon, and Kirk Hammett owns several originals. Two-piece mahogany body, a little thinner than the 1958 Korina Vs, with the medallion on the top. An authentic 1971 neck profile on a rosewood board, 1968 T-Top reissue humbuckers, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic, stop bar, Kluson Deluxe tuners and chrome hardware. Medallion Cherry in gloss nitro.
