The ES-225T was an particularly exciting guitar for Gibson upon its introduction at the NAMM show in July of 1955. Featuring a 16-1/4" wide hollow body that was only 1-3/4" deep, the ES-225T was Gibson’s first thin body design. The introduction of the ES-225 model set the stage for the rollout of the Thinline models that Gibson would launch a few years later, in 1958 and 1959. This 1956 ES-225T is an incredibly clean mid-1950s Gibson. The original sunburst finish is remarkably well preserved,
