One of the earliest produced examples of this iconic late-’60s Fender design. An incredibly cool find with a neck date of May '69; the month the comp stripe Mustang was officially released. Visually, it’s in excellent condition throughout. The competition stripe gives it that unmistakable racing-inspired look forever associated with Kurt's Smells Like Teen Spirit model. This one has an incredible, vibrant 'burst to the matching headstock too, and overall it's one of the nicest examples we have
