The 1959 ES-335 Reissue comes from a year of scanning original examples: rounded cutaways, a medium C neck and dot inlays. Gibson's Murphy Lab, named for Tom Murphy, who pioneered guitar aging at Gibson, finishes this guitar in aged nitro lacquer and ages its hardware to match. Ultra Light Aged is the lightest of the Murphy Lab's four aging levels.
