Sonic Evaluation Man, this '63 reissue Country Western from the Murphy Lab is one sweet ride! As far as wooden steeds go, it's got giddyup aplenty, with tons of volume and punch on tap. It's magnificently responsive, with deep, woody bass response ("woody" meaning that it produces a strong, rib-rattling fundamental tone) to go with rich, warm midrange and sweet sparkling trebles. That dry bass response makes sure this guitar sounds powerful but well-balanced, with no mud within 300 feet. Perha
