The D-18 Molly Tuttle is a spruce-and-mahogany dreadnought in gloss with a Vintage Sunburst top, built around a few changes to the standard D-18. The GE-scalloped braces are set in a Rearward Shifted X Brace, the neck is genuine mahogany in the Authentic 1941 shape with the Standard Taper, and the nut is 1 11/16". That nut is narrower than the 1 3/4" on the Standard Series D-18, so there is less width to reach across for fretted chords. The ebony board carries mother-of-pearl moon phase inlays,
