The 1942 Banner J-45 is the Workhorse as it first appeared, built in Montana to match the most celebrated wartime examples in structure and parts. A thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top with a hand-sprayed historic burst, red spruce braces set with hot hide glue, and mahogany back and sides. A historic neck profile on a rosewood board, a bone nut and saddle, an open-slot rectangle bridge and open-back strap tuners. Vintage Sunburst in thin VOS nitro, in a period-correct case. No pickup.
