The 1968 Les Paul Custom moved away from the fifties Custom: a solid maple top on a mahogany back for more clarity and bite, two humbuckers instead of three, and a 14-degree headstock angle. This reissue follows it closely. An authentic 1968 neck profile on an ebony board with mother-of-pearl block inlays, 1968 T-Top reissue humbuckers, 500K CTS pots and Black Beauty capacitors on a hand-wired harness, an ABR-1 bridge, stop bar, Kluson waffleback tuners and gold hardware. Ebony in gloss nitro.
