2018 D-28 from the workshop of Bagnasco & Casati, built with master-grade Moonspruce (European Red Spruce) and premium Brazilian Rosewood. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Legitimately old-school construction executed by modern masters: hide glue throughout, ‘thin skin’ nitrocellulose lacquer, and a steel T-bar neck insert. With a 1 3/4″ nut and 2 3/8″ saddle spacing, this is a dreadnought that can handle absolutely anything. Fingerstyle, flatpicking—it doesn’t just cope, it excels.
