The ES-355 is the ES-335 dressed in multi-ply binding, an ebony board with mother-of-pearl blocks and gold hardware. Gibson's Murphy Lab, named for Tom Murphy, who pioneered guitar aging at Gibson, finishes this guitar in aged nitro lacquer and ages its hardware to match. Light Aged is the second of the Murphy Lab's four aging levels, a step up in wear from Ultra Light. Custombuckers with Alnico 3 magnets, 500K CTS pots and paper-in-oil capacitors, an ABR-1 and aluminum stop bar. Watermelon Red
