The BG-42T is a Bluegrass Goose Dreadnought with Torrefied Brazilian Mahogany back and sides. The top is AAAA Adirondack red spruce, hand-selected and braced with Adirondack spruce, and black, white and black purfling trims the body. Boucher enlarges the soundhole to 4.125 inches and raises the top radius, and the modified V neck carries a 1.75-inch bone nut and nickel Gotoh open gear tuners. Boucher builds the series in Berthier-sur-Mer, Quebec, for bluegrass players on stage and in the studio
