The Les Paul Custom with a 25.5 inch scale, longer than the usual 24.75. It keeps the tuxedo appointments: a maple top on a one-piece mahogany back with 9-hole weight relief, an ebony board with mother-of-pearl blocks, multi-ply binding and gold hardware. A 490R and 498T on a hand-wired harness with 500K CTS pots and a Switchcraft toggle, an ABR-1, stop bar and Grover kidney-button tuners. Ebony, gloss nitro.
